Brochure Design
The Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center at UC Davis provides resources to students in regards to finances, food security, housing, and mental wellness. Their goal with this project was to spread student awareness of these resources around campus through an informative brochure highlighting their various programs.

I used the established brand colors to separate the different sections and focused on type hierarchy to reduce cognitive load and effectively share the information, which was essential given the large amount of text that needed to be included. I also played with diagonal lines and shapes to create a more dynamic layout.

Logo Design
The Transfer and Reentry Center assists transfer students and provides resources on academics, adjusting to university, or finding a referral. They were looking for a graphic element that would highlight concepts of journey, family, resilience, and meeting at a common goal.

I chose to play with arrows, as they were very representative of the transfer journey. I also incorporated their sense of direction and moving forward through the location pin, and the transfer students coming together at that one specific point. The upward arrow represents growth and support, toward their next journey.

The colors were selected by the client and aim to be welcoming and inviting, as well as unique enough to be recognizable and directly associated with the Center.
