Alan Bean
Memorial Poster
Poster Design
This poster aims at celebrating the life and achievements of Alan Bean, a renowned American naval aviator, engineer, test pilot, and NASA astronaut. Known for becoming the fourth person to walk on the Moon in November 1969 on the Apollo 12 mission, Bean was also an artist; his colorful paintings contain Moon dust and were sculpted using the astronaut's Apollo hammer and boots.

The poster design reflects the duality of Alan Bean – the moonwalker and the painter – by merging a photo of him on the Moon and one of his paintings.

Black Femme Magic Week
UC Davis Women's Center
Poster Design
Black Femme Magic Week is a week-long program organized by the Women's Center at UC Davis, featuring workshops and activities as part of Black Futures Month. This year's events focused on Afrofuturism and Magic, and I was responsible for designing the calendar poster as well as the event's speaker flyer and the library activity flyer. I decided to go for a bold photo-montage to create a world of technological innovation centered on inclusivity and nature.
